Cercis chinensis 'Avondale'

The Cercis chinensis 'Avondale' is a medium sized shrub or small tree that produces densely-clustered dark purple-pink flowers in late spring before his heart-shaped leaves appears. These leaves are quite large, and have a red-purple color when they bloom. This plant reaches a height of approximately 2.5-4m and is best planted in full sun in a moist but well drained soil.
