Developed by the University of Arkansas in 1977 this variety produces large bunches of early ripening fruits. A quick growing, medium-large sized, blue-black, seedless grape. These grapes are large in size and very sweet to the taste. They work well eaten straight from the vine, or made into juice or wine. .Vitis vinifera 'Venus' is a climbing grape vine. You'll get early fruit with this variety and it produces a large quantity of fruit. It's so vigorous that you may need to thin it out to get the best quality fruit from it. Bees will be attracted to this plant.
