Moulin Rouge is a medium sized deciduous shrub with a bushy and compact upright vorm. Weigela is reliable and easy to grow. Its leaves are oblong elliptical, pointed, toothed. The eye-catcher of the Moulin Rouge are the ruby red trumpet-shaped flowers from late May to early July which adorn the bush. The flowers are fragrant and usually have a second flowering in September. Furthermore, a good bee and butterfly plant. Adds an ydellic splash of colour to borders and containers.
