Hon Beni (syn.'Rosea '') is a powerful upright, deciduous vine with dark green feathery leaves consisting of 9 to 15 oval leafs. This wisteria blooms in the month of May with lavish lots of light pink, purple pointed, soft scented flowers hanging in bunches. Later, in late summer followed by velvety green legumes. Hon Beni loves a pitch in full sun or partial shade with a southern or western orientation. The plant attracts bees and butterflies and also gives a decorative yellow fall color.
