The Emerald Queen is a vigorous tree with a dense, symmetrical, rounded or oval crown with glossy five-lobed leaves that are dark green during spring but slowly turning yellow and orange in autumn. Clusters of fragrant, yellow-green flowers on bare branches in spring are followed by green fruit.
