Hartlage Wine is a multi-stemmed shrub that cheers up your garden with its bushy habit and crimson flowers. More softly scented than other Calycanthi, the flowers bloom from May till July. They are offset by gleaming ovate leaves, that turn golden in autumn.
Hartlage Wine reaches 2.5m tall and tends to send out suckers. It will grow well in most moist soils in either full sun or partial shade. It prefers a sheltered location.
