The ?Madame Galen? tolerates can grow in a lot of different soils as long they are well-drained. The large tubular flowers are salmon red to red-orange an are gold colored deep in the center of the flower. The best flowering occurs when planted in full sun. This tough vine is drought tolerant and heat tolerant once it is established. Flowering begins in midsummer and continues in a profuse show through early autumn.
