Trachycarpus fortunei
Windmill palm is one of the hardiest palms available. Windmill palms will grow at least 30 cm a year once established. The thick, dark trunk has a coarse, hairy texture. In May or June, long, dense clusters of small yellow flowers appear. Grows well as an indoor plant in cold areas, as it adapts well to container cultivation.
