Deciduous, upright shrub with ornamental qualities as well as delicious, sweet fruit. The reason Blue Crop is the most planted garden blueberry in the country: is because it's the most adaptable and consistent among other blueberry shrubs. The bush is disease resistant. Bell shaped flowers appear in May and mature into light blue berries up to 1,5 cm in diameter, ripening in mid/late July to mid/late August. Dark green leaves turn shades of red in the fall and the stems also exhibit red color, which is nice during the winter. It is best to plant more than one variety that will bloom at the same time.
