Weigela 'Princess Ayla®'

Weigela florida is native to Northern China, Korea and Japan. 'Pink Princess' is a more compact weigela shrub that typically grows to only 1,5 m tall and as wide. It features funnel-shaped lilac-pink flowers (to 3 cm long) in mid to late spring. A scattered but much less significant repeat bloom sometimes occurs in late summer to early autumn. Foliage on mature shrubs tends to arch toward the ground. Elliptic to oblong to obovate, medium green leaves produce little if any fall color.
