Caragana pygmaea
The Caragana pygmaea is a spiny and low-growing plant. It can be used as a low hedge or even as an intruder-proof ground. His small rounded leaves cover his stems and displays a fine texture in the landscape. During late spring the yellow pea-like flowers dangle beneath the branches and are followed by small pods in autumn. It is a though plant that supports dry soils and windy exposed sites. It is also low in maintenance.
