Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd'
Smargad is a semi dwarf conifer. It's useful in small space landscapes where you can not place larger arborvitaes. Smargad will tolerate heavy pruning and can be shaped into formal hedges. Needles are a rich green and retain their color well during the winter.
