Tilia cordata 'Greenspire'
Tilleul à petites feuilles
Tilia cordata ?Greenspire? is a compact, neat and tidy clone of the classic Small Leaved Lime, Tilia cordata. This tree has small and shiny heart-shaped leaves which are dark green on the surface and light green on the underside. The creamy coloured, fragrant flowers appear in July and are a welcome addition to this attractive variety of native tree. In the autumn time, the foliage turns a golden yellow. A super tree for avenue planting, this versatile tree is a classic choice for parkland and larger gardens where space allows.
