Originating from France, this ancient variety has several differently coloured clones this being one of them. In Germany it is known as Gutedel, whilst in Switzerland it is known as Fendant and is their most widely grown wine grape. Producing golden white grapes with a sublimely sweet flavour, this is an excellent variety for the Belgian climate and can be grown both outside as well as under protection. It is perfect for eating as well as for juicing or wine.
