This small shaped tree is around 8 m high when it's fully grown. However, if it has been propagated by top grafting it will only get to about 4m tall. It is often planted as a central tree in the garden, it is easy to grow as it doesn't need a special kind of soil. You can plant the tree in full sun or partially shaded areas. It has weeping branches that will reach the ground unless it's pruned. The tree is often described as mushroom or umbrella-shaped because it grows equally wide as it is tall.
