Tamarix ramosissima 'Rubra'
One of the finest late-flowering shrubs. Feathery green foliage and equally feathery profuse dark pink flowers born for a long period over the summer. Forms a large shrub with a slightly rangy growth habit, generally less than twenty feet, though old specimens can get very large indeed. Easy to grow and a totally different look than any other shrub in the garden.
