Taxus baccata 'Semperaurea' is the most yellow yew. Its growth is more bushy and wide conical. Semperaurea is a small evergreen conifer with glossy, soft, flattened, yellow-green to golden yellow needles with an orange tinge in winter. This masculine yew blooms in March and April with inconspicuous, yellow-green, spherical, male flowers. The yew tolerates sea wind and pollution and withstands diseases. This tree lives long and is slow-growing. It needs no pruning, but tolerates it.
