Amelanchier 'Prince William'
This hybrid is noted for its large flowers and fruit, which are borne on a relatively compact, suckering shrub. Each pure white bloom measures nearly an inch across, and each deliciously sweet, deep purple fruit is a full 1/2 in diameter. You'll have to get up early to beat the birds to the harvest. Orange-red fall color. Young plants often bloom their second year."
