Calycanthus floridus

This shrub has glossy, aromatic dark-green foliage. It has multiple stems that create a rounded outline. His blossoms are dark red with overlapping petals. His flowers often have a nice smell. His leaves turns yellow during fall but are not very showy.
The Calycanthus floridus adapts to many soils, and grows taller in shaded places.
