The Chaenomeles japonica 'Sargentii' has beautiful orange flowers during the spring. It is a great ground-covering shrub that grows up to 80cm in 10 years. During the summer, it grows golden fruits that are aromatic and edible when cooked. It is a very hardy shrub with great ornamental value.
